There are about 130 churches scattered throughout Nagasaki Prefecture.
For visits to churches not outside the components of World Heritage Sites, no prior notice is required.
Visits to churches that are not part of the World Heritage List are left to the discretion of the individual.
Churches are usually unlocked and free to visit, although in some cases they are locked.
Please note that you may not be able to see the temple if there is a church event going on at the time of your visit.
Please refrain from entering the premises when church religious events are in progress.
Please understand that the church building is not a tourist facility, and please refrain from making individual inquiries prior to your visit.
